The new year is almost upon us and everyone is hoping it may be a fresh start after the awful year we have experienced. Many of us have spent a lot more time in our homes than we usually would and now may be the time to give it that make over that you have been thinking about.

When giving you home a makeover it is important to do one project at a time. If you start too many different projects then it is likely that they will all take longer than expected and it can become quite stressful having many different areas of your home in disarray.

Before you start, work out what budget you have available. If you have a limited budget then you should prioritise what is most important. It may be that the carpets really need changing more so than the wallpaper or maybe you can’t stand the sight of your kitchen cupboards anymore, in which case this may be the priority.
