Getting your garden ready for summer 2021
With Borris’ latest update regarding the lockdown situation, many of us are hoping for a a good summer. It could be that by the end of June, social distancing is no more and we can pretty much go back to life as usual. With this in mind, now may the time to start to get your garden ready for the summer. As the restrictions are slowly lifted, you will be able to have people round in your garden before you can socialise in your home.
It may be that you decide to invest in a new garden furniture set or that you bite the bullet and buy that hot tub you have always wanted. Planning ahead will not only allow you time to get your garden looking beautiful but it may also allow you to beat the rush. If you wait to buy a hot tub until the warm weather comes, then you may well find that they are out of stock as this seems to happen every year.
Think about what plants will last through the spring and in to the summer as you may wish to start planting the seeds and starting them off soon. This will probably need to be done inside or in a greenhouse to protect them as we still could have some bad weather yet to come.
