Hinged Rooflights – Light and Ventilation

Posted by in Home Improvement

Rooflights can be used to let in some extra ventilation, as well as making a home or workplace lighter. The benefits of rooflights are manifold – you can make everything about a building more pleasant by installing one.

Hinged rooflights are perfect for areas that require ventilation on a regular basis. This could be a kitchen or bathroom, or perhaps just an office area where workers could benefit from some fresh air. Think about how a hinged rooflight could help improve your environment.

There are generally two types of hinged rooflight available, manual and electric. Electric is the more premium option and will be more expensive. It also offers additional functionality though and will be ideal for high ceilings where you cannot reach the rooflight, allowing it to be operated with a remote control system. Manual rooflights are opened by hand and you can also use a pole to open them on high ceilings.
