I recently had a massive sort out of items within my house. For years I had been storing old clothes and toys in cupboards putting them out of site, but there comes a time when you run out of cupboard space and need the extra room.

When having a clear out I always have three piles, one for keeps one for tip and one for charity shop or to sell. Set yourself adequate time to go through everything and make sure that you chuck away more that you keep. When you have a pile of items for the charity shop load them straight in to the car and take them to avoid bring items back in to the house. Having a good spring clean can not only make you feel better, but can make you money if you chose to sell items and can help others if you chose to donate them to a charity.
