Deciding on flooring for your home
If you are considering changing the flooring in your home then you will need to decide what you are going to have. There is a wide range of flooring available and which one you chose will often depend on what room it is going to be used in, cost, if you have pets and/or children and the look you want to go for.
Living rooms often have carpet, laminate or hardwood flooring. Each have their own advantages and disadvantages which will apply. Carpet is very comfy but can look a little dated in some homes and also may not be particle with children spilling food and drink or pets running in and out of the room with dirty paws. Laminate can be easy to clean but can damage easily, especially the cheaper laminate meaning that after a few months it may already start to look tatty. Hardwood floors are hard wearing and can look lovely in most homes but can also be very costly.
