There’s so many ways to clean your kitchen, it does get confusing trying to figure out which product is right for a certain type of worktop. One thing we do know for sure though, is that leaving grease marks and water marks on your surface can cause damage long-term. In this post, we will discuss the best way to maintain a solid wood kitchen worktop.

A solid wood kitchen worktop requires regular oiling, otherwise the wood may soak up water leaving it to swell and in worst case scenarios, fall apart. When a spill is made on a solid wood kitchen worktop, clean it straight away otherwise the wood may be permanently damaged. We’ve found cleaning with a damp cloth and liquid works very well and does no harm to the surface.
